REPORT
The RDC - San Juan started its programme of scheduled
institutional activities on April 3 6, with the staging of the inaugural IAAF
Information Technology seminar. A general orientation seminar geared to update
our members on the new IAAF Global Network Programme, which has been on stream
since the start of the year. A total of 30 participants, representing 25 federations
were guided by the IAAF IT Manager, Emanuele Perotti Nigra ably assisted by Kasserlain
Pierre (FRA). We trust that the knowledge and first hand experience gained by
the participants on the new system will greatly enhance our communication capabilities
in the future.

In support of
these activities, the RDC will continue to collaborate with member federations
in the conduct IAAF Coaches Education & Certification System (CECS) and Technical
Officials Education System (TOES) Level I courses. We will also be quite visible
at most of our Regional Competitions, where we will establish temporary offices
with a view to improving our communication and assistance to members.
