Procedural Guidelines

RDC San Juan:

a) Ensure that each participating Member Federation receives a detailed invitation at least three (3) months prior to the staging of any activity.

b) Maintain ongoing communication with Member Federations on the development of the activity.

c) Collaborate with Member Federations in the selection of candidates to participate in RDC activities.

d) Provide appropriate accommodation and local transportation to course participants.

e) Coordinate travel arrangements with Member Federations to ensure effective routing and the most economical airfares.

f) Make available to all participants course material, where applicable.

g) Develop and maintain a database on all participants in the RDC activities and follow on participants as necessary.


Member Federation:

a) Submit to the RDC by the established deadline the names of prospective participant(s) in any given activity.

b) Ensure that the candidate(s) selected to participate in the RDC activities meet established criteria.

c) Provide local assistance and support to prospective participants to ensure that they get leave of absence from work, visas etc., in a timely manner in order to participate in the RDC activity.

d) Ensure that participants in RDC activities are involved in development initiatives locally; seminars, workshops etc., upon return to their countries.

e) Lend financial assistance or identify local sponsorship to offset participation expenses for representatives, where applicable.
